What exactly is Core™?

Why is Core™ lab tested?
Most people assume a supplement is checked before it reaches the shelf. It isn’t. In the EU, food supplements don’t need approval before they’re sold, so testing is left to each brand, and many simply skip it. Independent tests of collagen and protein products have repeatedly found heavy metals in products already on sale.
Marine collagen carries a particular risk. Fish can carry heavy metals such as mercury and lead, and a liquid supplement has to stay free from bacteria.
So we test for both. Core™ is lab-tested for heavy metals and bacteria, and pH-stabilised for purity, so it stays clean and fresh in the pack. The collagen in Core™ has been clinically studied, and Core™ is made in Sweden to GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 food safety standards.

Why hydrolysed marine collagen?
Hydrolysed means the collagen is broken down into small peptides, so it dissolves fully and your body can absorb it. Marine collagen is mostly type I, the type that makes up most of the collagen in skin. That is why Core™ is a liquid and not a powder or a capsule.
Why is it good for skin?
Collagen and hyaluronic acid are what skin is built from, and vitamin C is what your body uses to make its own collagen. In the eight-week trial, 95% of women felt their skin looked better, 89% saw more moisture and glow and 87% noticed fewer fine lines.
What about hair and nails?
Biotin and selenium are in the formula for hair and nails. In the trial, 86% reported healthier hair and 76% stronger nails after eight weeks.
Why is there more than collagen in it?
